One Data provides two types of user accounts, Individual Accounts and Corporate Accounts.

• The Individual Account is suitable for a user who intends to be the only person and administrator managing all activities and information on that One Data account.

• The Corporate Account is suitable for an entity that may opt to have one or more Administrator(s) managing their activities and information on their account. Corporate Accounts may have between 1 to 3 people managing their account activities.

A Sponsor is the individual or entity behind a business or project and is responsible for the planning, development and maintenance of that business or project. For example, Africa Coffee Limited (“ACL”) is a private company and Sponsor that is planning and developing a 50-acre model Arabica Coffee Farm Project in Northern Uganda.

A Project is a temporary endeavour undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result (PMI, PMBOK 2017). For example, Africa Coffee Limited is undertaking the Arabica Coffee Farm Project (“the Project”) in Northern Uganda with the goal to unlock 50 acres of fertile farmland, plant and grow Arabica Coffee, increase Arabica coffee output, meet increasing demand for Arabica Coffee, and generate higher incomes for the company and its coffee outgrowers.

An Investor is a person or entity who commits capital with the expectation of receiving returns. For example an American firm is contributing capital to Africa Coffee Limited (ACL) to plan, develop and maintain a new 50 acre Arabica Coffee Farm Project in Uganda.

A Sponsor is an individual or organization behind a business or project and is responsible for the planning, development and maintenance of that business or project, whereas an Investor is the person or entity who commits capital to a Sponsor with the expectation of receiving returns from the Sponsor. For example the American firm is one of the investors that have committed capital to Africa Coffee Limited, the Sponsor of the new 50 acre Arabica Coffee Farm Project. Investor(s) provide capital to Sponsor(s).

A Lender is an individual or entity that provides funds to a person or firm with the expectation that the person or firm will repay the funds at agreed terms. For example a licensed commercial bank provides a loan to Africa Coffee Limited (ACL) to develop coffee collection and warehouse facilities in Uganda, and the company agrees to repay the Lender the original loan amount plus interest and fees.

A Service Provider is an individual or entity that provides goods, services and/or products to another person or entity. Service Providers may be Advisors & Consultants, Suppliers and/or Contractors. For example, Africa Coffee Limited (ACL) may procure the services of a surveyor (consultant) to measure and confirm 50 acres of land to grow Arabica coffee. The company may purchase coffee seedlings from coffee nurseries (suppliers) and hire a construction company (Contractor) to build their new coffee collection and warehouse facilities.

One Data takes the privacy and security of your data very seriously and has put in place substantial measures to protect your privacy and data. We do not disclose any of your data to anyone. We do not make your information public or sell your data.

None of your information on One Data can be accessed publicly. No other user on One Data can access any of your information without your prior consent and permission. Any other person or third party must obtain your permission before they are able to access your information. We have put in place controls and permissions that give you the power to select and decide who can access your information and specify the exact information and activities they can and cannot access. You also have the power to switch on, restrict and/or delete their access at any time.
